Tell the Women we are Going / Diles a las Mujeres que nos Vamos

Short film. 2013.

Directed by Carlos Mora Fuentes

Cast. Xoque Carbajal, Alberto Iglesias, Lara Caterina, Alaina Solinis.

David and Armando are childhood friends. Since they were kids they love to mess it up. It seemed like they were doing it on purpose, because their lack of scruples made them get into quite a bit of trouble. "They are just kids" their parents used to say when they went to pick them up at some angry neighbor's house.

The years have passed and things have changed a lot, although they still keep their friendship intact. They usually get together to have lunch with their families the occasional Sunday. During one of those meetings, Armando notices that his friend is not good. They decide to go out for a drink and chat for a while.

Notes

Cinematographic work based on the homonymous story by Raymond Carver. When I read this story I could not help but be shocked by the violence, coldness and normality with which the events it describes happen. I was in my second year of film school when I decided to shoot it.
